Civil War in Ethiopia

In November, 2020, in a premeditated move (The Nobel Peace Prize That Paved the Way for War in Ethiopia - The New York Times (nytimes.com), the leaders of Ethiopia and Eritrea invaded Tigray (a small state within Ethiopia), destroying industry, farming equipment, hospitals, killing political enemies, and raping thousands of women. When the small population of Tigray successfully resisted, throwing their countrymen (now enemies) out, these leaders implemented a blockage, using drones, jets and troops on the ground to prevent food, fuel and medical equipment from USAid and the UN reaching the starving, dying population. When church leaders in Tigray desperately asked, we agreed in May of 2021, to open our HOUSE OF HOPE to over 7 times the number of children without parents, as a result of this conflict. We encourage everyone to join in prayer for continued peace and stability in the Horn of Africa.
