House of Hope

In Addis Ababa children roam the streets asking for coins for bread. Most of these children are orphans, or suffer from extreme poverty. Today we have the House of Hope, where orphans from the street are being not only given a bed, new clothing, and food, but also plenty of love, in an environment where Jesus' Kingdom values and teachings can thrive in their lives.

While we have been rescuing children since the beginning of this work, we never dreamed that the LORD would entrust us with so many unwanted and at risk kids! Because of the CIVIL WAR, there is a growing need to care for AT RISK children, all under 18 years, in the areas where we work. Recently, we opened our doors wider than ever before, receiving many new boys and girls into our HOUSE OF HOPE in Adwa, Ethiopia! Because we also share the Gospel, many open their hearts to Jesus. The picture below are new believers.

We can’t do this alone, and are taking a big step of faith! We are seeking sponsors who would be willing to pray for a child, and support them with a gift of $39 a month!  Right now we need sponsors for most of our kids, and financially we need two sponsors for each child. Our kids love Jesus and are becoming future leaders of the Horn of Africa.

Even now during this crisis, each child has a surrogate “parent” who looks after them, providing shelter with a bed. We share with them the precious truths of the Gospel, and we love and care for them individually by our dedicated staff like Kedija.! All the funds you send us are being used to provide clothing, food and study materials. Not a dime you donate to the child is used for staff or office expenses, which are covered by other donors.

As soon as this civil war ceases and the Internet is reestablished, each sponsor will have the opportunity to not only pray for their child, but also have pictures, write and receive messages back from Tigray!

Pray for these children, full of painful experiences, yet now destined to become powerful influences in their country.
